If you have a manuscript on which you would like an honest, expert opinion, I can do that for you.

Of course manuscripts come in all sizes and flavours, so I charge an initial fee to read your synopsis and the first couple of chapters and then I will tell you if I think we should continue.

I won’t waste your money if I think that your writing is not of a high enough standard or if your project is miles off ready for publication.

If, however, I think that your work shows talent and would benefit from a critique, I will get back to you and ask you if you would like me to continue working on the complete manuscript and then send you detailed comments and suggestions. I will be constructive in my criticisms.

Sometimes a novel needs re-sequencing or a change of voice or some rather brutal cutting. I understand how hard it is to view your work objectively when you have been tweaking it for years. I can look at it with a fresh eye.
